I think that my experience made the blog was very successful, because I have learned a little more of how better and improve my English.
When I started to made this blog, I thought that this kind of work doesn’t make sence, because I never did before.
In my school I was used to other kind of work, like every three weeks we have to do a test. The test was basically for evaluate how much we have learnt about topics like “verb to be”, “past tense”, “going to”.
Also, in the English class of my school was very usually spoken in Spanish if we don’t understand something.
In this class I have to apply all those knowledge, in the blog such as in the exercises of the class.
The change of my school to the University was very big, because both English classes were very different.
But I think that this change made me very well, because I don’t used speak English in the class. So, now I feel that I can express myself a little better, because I have practiced in class.
The methodology of the class, as I said, it’s very different that in my school.
At the beginning for me was very difficult start the exercises of the blog, so I had to ask for help in many times.
But in every class that we have to do a new work in the blog, I started to understand a little bit more, because I had learned how to do.
My opinion about the blog exercises it’s that they were very interesting, because they were very linked with topics about the art, history and specially of my career, public management.
So nevertheless I think that working in the blog help me to expressing more than I used to do. Also get better my English, making growing better my vocabulary.

My ideal job: Chile Deportes.

I think that like a public manager my ideal job would be related with the community, so if you ask me “what do you want to do”, I would said that I would like to work in Chile Deportes.
Why Chile Deportes? ; Because I really like sports. My wish like a public manager and my responsibility is to get better the Management and the administration of the public’s politics.
What is Chile Deportes? ; Chile Deportes is a institution that dependent of the National Institute of Sports, and its functions are develop the sport and support the pursuit of talent, to contribute to the welfare of the people, through implementation, dissemination and financing plans, programs and tools to promote sports.
Also contributes to improving the quality of life and healthy living, away from drugs by promoting the sport.
My principal reason for want to be in Chile Deportes it’s because the previous administrations were very bad and very disastrous. So I would like change that, and get better that administration for the welfare of the community.
As student of the University of Chile my chances are more than other student, because the prestige and the reputation of my University is more than other University.

Piece of Art: The David

The piece of art that I chose is The David. The David it’s a statue. It was sculpted by Michelangelo between 1501 and 1504 in Italy, specifically in Florencia.
Michelangelo was one of the most famous and important italian painter-sculptor. But Leonardo da Vinci was the most important.
Also Michelangelo was an architect, a poet, and an engineer
The statue measure 5.17 meter and it was made of marble because this material is stronger and resistant.
David was a king from the bible. He’s who killed Goliath.
Michelangelo chose to represent David before the fight contemplating the battle yet to come.
Also the statue symbolize the civil liberties in the Florentine Republic (an Italian Independient city state), which was threatened for many years by the Medici.
The Medici was a very powerful family from Florencia.
The statue represents the perfection of art of the Renaissance, first because his body it’s made perfectly, it’s an athletic body, and the symmetry and proportion of his body it’s perfect.

Do Schools Kill Creativity? by Ken Robinson

Sir Ken Robinson talk about the creativity and how creativity is important for human development.
He associated the creativity with education, because by self, the education suppresses creativity.
The argument of Mr Robinson is that assumes that all children have creativity. This creativity should be treated the same way as for example math, or language.
The society makes them believe that the creativity it’s something wrong. Also said that the creativity it’s like a kind of impediment for learning in the school.
The academics thinks that the creativity isn’t necessary because the important is how smart you are.
He remembers an experience about Gillian, a famous dancer; when she was a child, she couldn’t concentrated in the classroom. She went to see a doctor, and when he saw Gillian, he said that she wasn’t seek, she is a dancer.
Mr Robinson wanted to said is that the creativity is very important because it’s a gift
from the nature and it’ essential for the development of human being.
So we have to care this.
